Stick Man Animation Reel (Finally!)

Finally got around to uploading this thing!

This is a collection of most of the shots I was given the opportunity to animate on the 2015 BBC animated Christmas Special 'Stick Man', a fully CG animated adaptation of Julia Donaldson's much-loved children's book of the same name.

Our mission with this film was to create a picture that felt as though it was a stop-motion animated piece, similar to some of the previous Julia Donaldson/Magic Light film adaptations, with the characters' performances being kept subtle, simplified and, most importantly, charming :).

I will always be immensely grateful for having been given the chance to take part in creating the animation for this little film. Thus far, it's been the most important test I've faced as an artist in general and, especially, as an animator :)
